Developed by DakeCraft, this game is true to its name and is a hilarious gambling simulator in the form of an RPG adventure that offers wacky solutions for your calamitous money problems. However, this is recommended only for those who know the Korean language due to its lack of a translation.
Hero by day, a gambler by night
Do not be fooled by the game’s description, as Gambling Apocalypse Daguri is actually only available in Korean. There are still some familiar English words and symbols at times, but the game really has no translation—even in a mod. The developer suggests this game only to those who know Korean well, but this can also test an intermediate Korean student’s knowledge of the language. If you’re fluent, you can go ahead and play.
The story of this game tells the aftermath of a hero’s journey. Daguri was a warrior who had been honored as a hero after the war. He was given riches thanks to his efforts, but unfortunately, he got into the bad habit of visiting the casino. He soon found himself in debt—however, instead of quitting forever, he decides to use his remaining money to continue gambling and win back his money.
You play as the plain-looking Daguri in this RPG Maker-like world. Similar to such games, you can go out into the world and explore various areas. Here, the places are all connected to gambling and provide Daguri with different methods of earning money. From classic casino games like roulette and poker to horse races and even to the stock market, there are a wide variety of gambling activities you can try out.

All in all, Gambling Apocalypse Daguri is surprisingly well-made and knowledgeable about the game mechanics it displays. It feels like an RPG parody, but it doesn’t skimp out on making the backstory authentic. While it’s a shame that it doesn’t have other languages, this simulator is interesting and is a good recommendation for a fun gambling game.
